Favorite {fvrit} Social Media Wiki is a collaborative project to build an outstanding social media resource. We encourage everyone to participate. In keeping with the nature of wiki sites, there will be no commercial advertising (no banner ads, etc) run on the wiki pages. We hope the non-commercial nature of Favorite Wiki will persuade visitors to help build a great social resource. Anyone can contribute. Simply
create an account, activate it and begin adding or editing entries.
We need volunteers to edit the wiki and add entries, you can help make a difference.
Favorite Wiki members can create new categories, upload images, create new entries and edit existing entries. Self-promotion is okay. If you have a quality social media related resource, create an entry for it. This wiki is about sharing your knowledge and expertise with others.
Email activation is required to register for an account. If you do not receive an confirmation email with 30 minutes of registering click the "admin" link at the top of the page and contact us. Include your user name and email used when creating your account. We will manually activate the account. Be sure to check your spam folder when looking for the confirmation email.
Acceptable image formats are: GIF, JPG and PNG, maximum file size 250kb (size requirement only pertains to our image hosting, if you use external images/links there is no size limit). You can pull external images or use our image hosting. If you use our image hosting after
uploading use the image insert on the entry page editor to choose the uploaded image. The Favorite Social Media wiki is very similar to wikipedia features wise.

embed video, slide show, image gallery, RSS feed display, templates and several others to be announced later. You can embed YouTube video (or other embedable video) in wiki entries be using nowiki open and close tags (visual how-to coming soon.
